Job description:We are seeking an experienced SENIOR System Administrator for our project team for a 6-month contract.
This role is critical to our FIPS enablement project for a LARGE SEMICONDUCTOR ITAR COMPLIANCE Customer, aiming to ensure CLIENT IT infrastructure meets federal IT security standards.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience with ESX hosts, physical servers, and storage appliances (NetApp and Tintri), and a solid understanding of FIPS standards and ITAR, EAR, and CUI requirements.
Holding certifications such as VCP (VMware Certified Professional) AND NCDA (NetApp Certified Data Administrator) will be considered a significant advantage.
Responsibilities:
Enable FIPS-compliant configurations on ESX hosts, physical hosts, and storage appliances NETAPP and TINTRI.
FIPS enablement to demonstrate the protection of ITAR, Highly Controlled EAR, and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) products/data.
Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to schedule and execute necessary downtime for FIPS enablement.
Verify the compliance of configurations to FIPS and other security standards.
Collaborate with project team members to meet project milestones and deadlines.
