Senior Vice President, Legal & Compliance – The Advertiser

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Provides legal advice, reviews and negotiates loan documentation and other agreements, contracts, etc.
with various government agencies/parties for and on behalf of the Bank.
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting the Bank's compliance framework.
Requirements:
Must possess a recognised law degree.
Admitted to practise in Malaysia is an added advantage.
Experience in a banking environment and operations is preferred.
Sound knowledge of banking/financial related agreements, contracts, and other legal documentation.
Experience in company secretarial functions is an added advantage.
At least 10 years of relevant working experience in legal and compliance.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the Financial Services Act, Companies Act 2016, and other relevant Acts and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
