Company Background: We are representing one of a well known Pastry Cafe and as they are expanding, they are looking for Branch Manager to be based in JB.
Job Description: Recruiting, interviewing and training staff to follow restaurant procedures Greeting and advising customers Maintaining safety and food quality standards Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation Promoting and marketing the business.
Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities and sales representatives.
Preparing and presenting staffing/sales reports.
Keeping statistical and financial records.
Assessing and improving profitability Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant Keeping customers happy, getting their feedback on the experience and handling complaints Organizing schedules, keeping track of employees hours and recording payroll data Ordering food, linens, gloves and other supplies while staying within budget limitations Supervising daily shift operations, including front- and back-of-house restaurant operations Controlling operational costs and identifying ways to cut waste Appraising staff performance and disciplining or retraining employees to correct poor performance Job Requirements: Minimum possess a diploma/bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, or any related field.
Must have at least 5 years experience as assistant manager or restaurant manager.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Must have experience running at least a 60-seat restaurant.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficient in financial management and budgeting.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Knowledge of industry and market trends.
