Responsibilities:
Greet customers promptly and with a friendly demeanor.
Assist customers in placing their orders and provide menu recommendations.
Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary.
Order Management:
Accurately take and relay orders to the kitchen or bar.
Ensure orders are delivered promptly and correctly.
Check on customers during their dining experience to ensure satisfaction.
Cleanliness and Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, tables, and service stations.
Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Assist with setup and teardown of dining spaces for events or special occasions.
Work closely with kitchen and other service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions.
Handle cash, credit card, or digital payments securely and efficiently.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
Minimum SPM or equivalent.
Prior experience in F&B or hospitality is an advantage but not required.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in orders and cleanliness.
Personal Qualities:
Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
Punctual and reliable.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods and carry out physical tasks.
