Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Engineering)
Reporting to the Service Manager, this full-timeService Engineer (Anelva)role atCanon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhdis based inKulim, Kedah . As a key member of the service team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and maintenance services for Anelva semiconductor equipment.
What you'll be doing
Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections on Anelva semiconductor equipment
Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to ensure optimal performance and uptime
Provide on-site technical support and training to customers
Maintain detailed service records and documentation
Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement equipment upgrades and improvements
Support the team in managing spare parts inventory and logistics
What we're looking for
Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline
3-5 years of experience as a service engineer in the semiconductor industry
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
Knowledge in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
Proficiency in Japanese (speaking) is an advantage.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
