Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinate with in-house team for all shipping issues and enquiries.
Do 'whatever it takes' to meet or exceed our customers' expectations in compliance with OTD 95%.
Coordinate flow & documentation of import procedures.
Coordinate & liaise with Custom Department for exemption and Government application.
Perform shipment audit and ensure correct use of shipping inco-terms.
Assist & support in all shipping import/export activities which deem necessary.
Freight sourcing and negotiation for import/export destination.
Certificate of Origin submission & ASN upload as required.
Be aware of ISO9001 and ISO 14001 procedures and policies.
Education & Experience
Degree in Business Administration/Economics/Logistics Management or related discipline.
Minimum 2 years' relevant working experience in a MNC with high mix high volume manufacturing environment.
Must be PC literate in spreadsheet applications; knowledge & experience in warehousing or logistics management will be an added advantage.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and reporting of information/data.
Possess logical thinking and analytical thinking skills.
