Responsible for the shipping operation in maintenance and control of the shipping operation, system transaction, records, housekeeping and safety. Ensure error-free and on-time daily shipment processing to meet internal and external customer's requirements.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Perform ship confirm transaction in Oracle system to generate Commercial Invoice and Packing List.
Handling of end-to-end process for shipment to worldwide customers and intercompany.
Generate air waybill using courier service online tools and consolidate shipments where required.
Prepare certificates and other required shipping documentation required by customers.
Ensure right documents provided for warehouse and freight forwarders and right shipping documents attached and/or provided for the shipment.
Ensure correct combination of ship method, delivery term and freight term on customer orders.
To comply with customer's special requirements.
Generate special label from customer web ASN and update shipping information on customer's web. Attend online training on customer web ASN.
Maintain proper record of shipment data and systematic filing and storage of Shipping Documents for audit purposes.
Coordinate with forwarders on freight booking and ensure shipment release and pick up accordingly.
Hold the shipment where non-compliance is found and ensure shipment is released to the correct Logistics service provider.
To maintain good traceability of documents and prepare first and last ten shipping documents for monthly finance audit.
To comply with customer's special requirements and maintain the security and safety policy at all times.
To ensure all processes and documentation comply with the SOP, Work Instruction, IATF 16949, IECQ, QC080000 and/or ISO9001 requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Candidate must possess at least SPM or higher is preferred.
Minimum 3 years in Supply Chain, Warehouse, Shipping and Freight management.
Proficient verbal and written English & Bahasa Malaysia communication skills are a must with appropriate typing skills.
Ensure accuracy when handling tasks related to the shipment.
