Shipping Clerk

• Order Processing: Preparing and verifying shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and labels. Ensuring orders are accurately picked, packed, and ready for shipment.

• Coordination with Carriers: Scheduling pickups and deliveries with shipping companies or couriers. Communicating with logistics providers to ensure timely dispatch and tracking of shipments.

• Inventory Management: Keeping track of stock levels, ensuring that the correct products and quantities are shipped, and reporting any discrepancies.

• Packaging and Labeling: Ensuring goods are properly packaged and labeled according to company or customer specifications, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate shipping records, including shipment dates, shipping methods, and tracking information. This includes handling customs documentation for international shipments.

• Quality Control: Inspecting outgoing shipments to ensure that products are undamaged and correctly packed, and addressing any issues with damaged or incorrect orders.

• Communication: Liaising with internal teams (e.g., warehouse, sales, or customer service) to update them on shipment status and address any shipping-related issues.
