Responsibilities:
Working under supervision of Site Manager, monitoring work progress at site and ensuring the completion of tasks within the time frame.
Co-ordinating and reporting periodically to the Site Manager on the project status and progress.
Managing the installation team to ensure site installation and material used adheres to the design specifications.
Resolving construction technical matters and problems, discrepancies of drawings, and defective complaints raised by clients and purchasers during the defects liability period.
Assigning and supervising daily workforce for supervisors and workers.
Preparing work programme and progress reports.
Identifying and raising discrepancies between construction drawings from different disciplines (e.g., Architectural, C&S, M&E).
Organizing and attending to defects rectification issues during the defects liability period.
Monitoring and scheduling material delivery.
Conducting sub-con coordination meetings to ensure all sub-cons work as a team and are well-coordinated to fulfil the specifications and timeline.
Performing any other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Qualifications / Job Requirements:
At least a Diploma / Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a building-related discipline.
Fresh graduates with similar experience will also be considered.
A team player who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Resourcefulness is an essential skill for problem-solving at the site.
Required skills: MS Office, AutoCAD.
Required languages: English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Possess own transport.
