About the roleAs a Site Engineer at Bonus Merit Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects at our Tuaran, Sabah location.
This is a full-time position that requires on-site presence to ensure the successful and efficient delivery of our civil and structural engineering projects.
What you'll be doing
Manage and coordinate construction activities on-site to meet project timelines and quality standards
Monitor and report on construction progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise
Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Conduct site inspections and document findings to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and safety regulations
Assist with the preparation of technical reports, budgets, and other project documentation
Collaborate with the design team to provide input and recommendations for project improvements
Ensure the site adheres to all relevant health, safety, and environmental protocols
What we're looking for
Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry
Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and equipment
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
