* Manage and oversee daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
* Interpret and implement technical drawings and engineering designs for earthwork or infrastructure aspects of the project.
* Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and identify and resolve any technical challenges that may arise.
* Oversee earthwork activities (e.g., excavation, grading, backfilling) or infrastructure installations (e.g., utilities,pipelines, roads) ensuring they meet quality control standards.
* Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including daily reports, progress logs, and material requisitions.
* Collaborate effectively with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
* Ensure a safe work environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols on-site.
Qualifications:
* Valid CIDB Green Card (Graduate Engineer or IOW)
* Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Site Engineer or IOW, with a demonstrable track record in earthwork or infrastructure projects.
* Proven understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality control procedures.
*Excellent proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
*Preferable Mandarin speaker
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Valid driver's license and a clean safety record preferred.
