About the role
A Site Recruiter is vital in managing the recruitment activities specific to a high-volume manufacturing facility. The Site Recruiter's responsibilities include sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates for the production and operational functions of the business (blue-collar positions).
The Site Recruiter will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand the site's unique needs and ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process. Site Recruiters focus on building strong relationships with local talent pools, utilizing site-specific strategies to attract and retain top talent. Additionally, they may contribute to onboarding processes and serve as liaisons between the site and the broader organizational recruitment efforts.
Key responsibilities include
Primarily responsible for roles related to production, engineering, maintenance, and other operational positions.
Involved in ensuring a steady pipeline of skilled workers and addressing immediately staffing requirements at the site level.
Work closely with site managers, production supervisors and other operational leaders to understand the job requirements, team dynamics, and culture.
Consistently execute with operational excellence to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
Source candidates using various methods, both internal and external, to ensure a diverse and qualified candidate pool.
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from initial phone screens to offer stages.
Administer and analyze candidate assessments or tests as needed.
Evaluate candidates based on skills, experience and culture fit.
Stay informed about employment laws and regulations to ensure recruitment processes align with legal requirements.
Provide insightful market data to influence grow-oriented discussions and stay informed of national labor trends.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with leaders, vendors, community organizations, and team members.
Organize and lead post-interview debrief sessions with interview teams and candidates.
Partner with Human Resources to maintain accurate documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities.
Effectively negotiate offers and close candidates within appropriate compensation ranges.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in recruitment.
Stay updated on industry trends and innovative recruiting strategies.
About you
Fluent in English, both written and oral.
4+ years of demonstrated talent acquisition sourcing, encompassing recruitment practices, principles, applications, and methodologies, with proficiency in interviewing and candidate assessment techniques.
Recruitment experience involving a proactive sourcing model and engaging with passive operations candidates and networks.
Experience as a recruiter and manufacturing recruitment experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
Exceptional market research and sourcing skills.
Experience using an ATS and LinkedIn.
Proficient in providing administrative support to recruiters throughout the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate assessments, and managing candidate communication.
Experienced in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software to assist recruiters in managing candidate pipelines, organizing applicant data, and generating recruitment reports.
Knowledgeable about HR and recruitment compliance standards, assisting recruiters in ensuring adherence to equal employment opportunity (EEO) regulations and data protection laws.
Strong organizational abilities to assist recruiters in prioritizing tasks, maintaining recruitment calendars, and ensuring smooth and efficient recruitment operations.
Excellent communication skills to facilitate communication between recruiters, hiring managers, candidates, and external recruitment partners, ensuring effective collaboration throughout the recruitment process.
Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate candidate records, documentation, and confidentiality, supporting recruiters in managing administrative tasks effectively.
