Site Safety And Health Officer

Requirements:- Complete in the Occupational Safety and Health Department's certificate (JKKP).- Good communication & Interpersonal Skills in Malay, English and Mandarin is preferred.- At least 1 year of working experience related to the occupational Safety and Health field.**Responsibilities**:- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.- Conduct safety audits to ensure compliance with WSH standards.- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.- Provide training and education to employees on health and safety topics, including hazard recognition, emergency procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.- Monitor and analyze data related to occupational injuries, illnesses, and safety performance metrics.- Liaise with the DOSH, Police and other relevant government agencies with regard to health, safety and security matters affecting workers.- Develop emergency response plans and procedures to address potential workplace hazards and incidents.- Stay informed about changes in safety regulations and industry best practices, and make recommendations for updates to policies and procedures accordingly.- Serve as a resource for employees regarding safety concerns, questions, and issues.**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Dental insurance- Free parking- Maternity leave- Opportunities for promotion- Parental leave- Professional developmentSchedule:- Day shift- Fixed shift- Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:- Performance bonus- Yearly bonus**Education**:- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)**Experience**:- Safety and Health: 1 year (preferred)**Language**:- English (preferred)- Mandarin (preferred)License/Certification:- Safety and Health Department's certificate (JKKP) (preferred)Expected Start Date: 11/03/2024
