Key Objective of Role The Site Safety Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safe execution of all site activities, in compliance with Malaysian OSHA standards and company policies, while also coordinating with clients, contractors, consultants, and subcontractors. This role involves both safety management and site supervision to ensure smooth project execution, effective communication, and compliance with all legal and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities Your primary responsibilities, but not limited to:
Ensure site safety compliance with OHSE standards and DOSH/NIOSH regulations for assigned projects. Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards and ensure safety standards are followed. Maintain safety documentation and submit reports to relevant stakeholders. Act as the point of contact for clients, subcontractors, consultants, and other external parties regarding safety and site coordination. Supervise subcontractors and workers to ensure safety protocols and work quality are upheld. Coordinate and implement site-specific safety plans and risk assessments. Investigate accidents, report incidents, and recommend corrective actions. Oversee site progress to ensure alignment with project schedules and quality standards. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements as per the "Yellow Book" guidelines. Conduct risk assessments and prepare emergency response plans. Supervise high-risk activities to ensure proper safety measures are in place. Communicate safety and site matters to all stakeholders and resolve issues quickly. Verify material quality and report non-compliant deliveries. Ensure smooth project execution through effective safety management and coordination. Relevant Experience & Qualifications Must hold a valid Yellow Book, registered with the Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH).Preferably certified for working at height and lifting supervision.Familiar with safety standards and best practices in construction or substation environments.Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.Detail-oriented with effective time management skills.Team player with the ability to work independently.Must hold a valid driver's license.Willing to work irregular hours when needed.Possess own transport.
