Duties & ResponsibilitiesTo ensure compliance and promote a safety conduct of works - inspect and rectify any unsafe practices at the construction site.
To act as the company's liaison with relevant authorities such as DOSH, CIDB, Bomba on matters concerning Safety and Health.
Ensure that safety requirements are implemented by sub-contractors including safety management plan, safety procedures, safe work methods, and safety improvement.
Create awareness among all staff on matters pertaining to Safety and Health.
Ensure compliance with local environmental requirements.
Ensure emergency response plan is implemented properly.
Ensure all machinery policies, procedures, and instructions comply with JKKP regulations.
Other tasks as assigned by the superior from time to time.
Skills & QualificationsDegree/Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalents.
At least 3 years of working experience in construction safety supervision and implementation.
Competent and well-versed with health and safety legislation, NIOSH, and OSHA regulations.
