As a Site Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standards.
This full-time position is crucial in supporting the successful execution of our construction initiatives.
What you'll be doing
Supervise and coordinate the work of construction crews, tradespeople, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Develop and implement work schedules, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed to keep projects on track.
Liaise with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues or concerns.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Identify and resolve problems or bottlenecks that may arise during construction.
Provide guidance and support to the construction team, including training and mentoring less experienced workers.
Maintain detailed records and documentation related to the project, including timesheets, incident reports, and quality control measures.
What we're looking for
Substantial experience (8+ years) as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction supervisory role.
Thorough knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment, as well as an understanding of relevant building codes and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to think critically and find practical solutions to complex challenges.
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, schedules, and specifications.
Familiarity with project management principles and the ability to prioritise tasks and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
Certification or training in construction safety and quality management is highly desirable.
