About the roleWe are seeking a talented and experienced Site Supervisor to join our construction team at ZHEN YUAN CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN. BHD. in Johor Bahru, Johor. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
Coordinate and supervise the work of construction teams, including tradesmen, contractors and subcontractors
Monitor project progress and ensure that deadlines, budgets and quality standards are met
Identify and resolve any issues or problems that arise on-site in a timely manner
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies
Communicate regularly with project managers, clients and other stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns
Assist in the planning and scheduling of work activities to optimise productivity and efficiency
Provide training and mentorship to less experienced members of the construction team
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction supervisory role
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, equipment and safety protocols
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications and contracts
Familiarity with project management software and tools
Certifications in construction management, health and safety, or related fields would be an advantage
