Smt Engineer

Job Title: SMT Engineer  Key Responsibilities: Set up and optimize SMT equipment and processes to meet production goals, quality standards, and operational efficiency.Conduct programming, setup, and troubleshooting of SMT equipment (e.g., pick and place machines, solder paste printers, reflow ovens, etc.).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve SMT process issues, improve yield, and enhance overall production performance.Support new product introductions (NPI) by developing and validating SMT processes for new designs and prototypes.Conduct process audits and implement improvements to ensure high-quality production and compliance with industry standards.Analyze production data to identify trends and implement corrective actions to improve process stability and output.Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for SMT-related defects and issues.Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields) with 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SMT processes and equipment in a PCBA manufacturing environment.Strong technical knowledge of SMT machines, including programming, setup, and troubleshooting.Familiarity with SMT-related quality standards and industry best practices (e.g., IPC standards).Experience with process optimization, line balancing, and continuous improvement methodologies.Knowledge of NPI processes and the ability to adapt SMT processes to new product designs.
