Responsibilities:
Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SMT programming to ensure high-quality and efficient production.
Perform programming for SMT equipment, AOI (Automated Optical Inspection), SPI (Solder Paste Inspection), and reflow ovens.
Conduct process improvement activities to enhance SMT line efficiency.
Continuously monitor the process yield and actively involve in continuous quality improvement.
Maintain and update SMT programming documentation for traceability and compliance.
Ensure all ECN or PDN are promptly complied with and implemented effectively.
Provide training and technical support to technicians/operators on SMT programming and machine handling.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
At least 3 years of working experience in SMT Programming and equipment handling.
Familiar with PCBA process - SMT, Manual Insert, Wave Soldering, Auto Insert & Box Build process.
Proficiency in SMT software such as Panasonic, Yamaha, or similar platforms.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Familiar with IPC standards and SMT assembly processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills in English.
Language required: English, Malay, and Chinese.
Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage as to work closely with customers from China.
