About the role
Join Smart Industries Sdn Bhd as a full-time SMT Process Engineer in Perak. In this critical role, you will be responsible for optimising and maintaining the surface mount technology (SMT) production processes to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing of electronic components.
Responsibilities: Design & control PCBA process.Drive for product's yield and quality improvement activities.Monitor production activities, propose recommendations on material, process and/or labor reductions to promote efficiency of operation.Coordinate for new lines set up and process change.Responsible for machine utilization and downtime improvement effort.Process improvement & line balancing for new and existing products.Key person for product prototype run and drive for improvement before mass production build.Prepare Bom list, Gerber, X-Y data to do offline programming.Prepare WI, Control plan & FMEA.To improve on process cycle time (or UPH study) for bottom-neck product lines.To work closely with NPI engineer for new product introduction (through MPV builds) and ensure a good "hand-shake" before new product release for mass production run.Requirements: Candidate must possess at least Diploma /Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Familiar with PCBA process - SMT, Manual Insert, Wave Soldering.Familiar with COB, BGA, CSP, Flip Chip, PoP, 0603/01005 assembly, corresponding rework & underfill process will be an added advantage).Line Set up, NPI Process and Product transfer knowledge will be an added advantage.Computer literature.Able to read & communicate in Chinese due to deal with Chinese Client, English & Malay.Self-motivated, work independently, good logical thinking.
