Social Media Executive

Position Overview:
You will be responsible for maintaining the brand's social channels (Malaysia and Singapore), ensuring our in-market visual is appealing and eye-catching, and adopting content trends relevant to our audience. This role includes planning, creating, and executing highly engaged, innovative social media and digital content across all social media platforms and amplifying brand awareness.
Responsibilities:



-Social Media Strategy Development:




-Market Research: Research skincare market trends, including consumer behaviour, competitor analysis, and activities.


-Strategic Planning: Help develop social media strategies, identifying key platforms and content pillars.


-Goal Setting: Assist in establishing clear, measurable goals for social media performance, such as follower growth and engagement rates.


-Campaign Development: Support the design and implementation of social media campaigns aligned with marketing initiatives and product launches.


-Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with the latest social media trends and platform updates to ensure the brand remains relevant.


-Budgeting: Manage and track social media campaign budget and optimize return on investment.

2. Content Creation and Management:



-Content Development: Ideate and create creative concepts and strategies across all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) to showcase our products and build brand awareness.


-Content Production: Film, edit, and upload short-form engaging content across all social media platforms in a timeline manner.


-Content Calendar: Develop, plan, and maintain a monthly content calendar, and advanced calendar planning (monthly/quarterly).


-Copywriting: Craft compelling, on-brand copy for social media posts that appeal to the target audience.

3. Community Engagement:



-Audience Interaction: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and tags across all social media platforms, fostering positive interactions.


-Community Building: Drive and manage community engagement and growth, monitoring feedback and interacting with the community across multiple social media platforms encouraging brand loyalty. Plan, coordinate, and execute social media activities, events, and social media activations.


-Feedback Management: Gather and analyze feedback from social media interactions to inform product development and customer service improvements.

4. Performance Analytics and Reporting:



-Data Analysis: Track and analyze social media metrics such as follower growth, engagement rates, and reach using tools like Facebook Insights and Instagram Analytics.


-Reporting: Prepare monthly reports on social media performance, providing insights into what is working and where there are opportunities for improvement.


-Optimization: Use data-driven insights to refine social media strategies and content.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:



-Marketing Integration: Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure social media strategies are integrated with other marketing efforts.


-Product Launches: Work closely with the product development team to create compelling social media content around new product launches.


-Customer Service: Liaise with the customer service team to ensure product-related inquiries on social media are addressed promptly.


-Creative Input: Participate in brainstorming sessions with the marketing and creative teams, contributing ideas for campaigns and promotions.

6. Crisis Management:



-Risk Mitigation: Assist in developing and implementing a crisis management plan for social media, ensuring quick responses to negative publicity.


-Real-Time Response: Monitor social media channels for potential issues and respond in real-time to mitigate any potential damage to the brand's reputation.

-Strong writing, editing, and copywriting skills.

-Excellent organizational and time-management skills.


-Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
