SOFTWARE DEVELOPER RACE CONTROL The role :
As a Software Developer at MYLAPS, you will play a crucial role in the full cycle of product release and maintenance. Your proactive approach and broad perspective will be essential as you work to understand the entire domain, bringing innovative and constructive suggestions to the table. Your responsibilities : Product Development: Involve yourself fully in the development and release of new products, as well as the maintenance of existing ones. Ownership: We are a small team with open communication lines, at the same time you'll have the freedom and ownership over your methods to implement and maintain software components if it is aligned with overall architecture. Code review and Feature testing: Each PR is reviewed and tested by peer developers, it is important to properly review the code for immediate flaws and extensively test the underlying PR for more subtle issues. Collaboration: Work closely with our Product Management and Hardware Development teams to create high-quality solutions. Agile Workflow: Participate in an agile development process, ensuring that we remain flexible and responsive to new challenges and opportunities. Field Testing: Engage in the exciting opportunity to test our products in real-world environments, directly at sport events. Your profile : Expertise in modern C++ Software Development: Experience with modern C++ (11 or newer) Familiar with topics like: Multithreading, Web APIs, Websocket, JSON, Boost and STL algorithms Big pluses if you are familiar with: C, Qt, Python or Rust Linux Proficiency: Professional experience with Linux operating systems. Testing and Version Control: Solid experience with unit testing and version control systems Passion for Technology and Motorsports: Enthusiasm for new technologies and, ideally, a love for motorsports.
