This position requires a dynamic leader with a passion for working with key customers to obtain industry and customer insights, identify emerging technologies and application opportunities with the objective to develop impactful growth initiatives and solution roadmap, and drive implementation of strategic plan to increase Keysight workflow market shares. This position requires research and analytical skills based on data about trends, demographics, and buying habits. Product planners must also keep track of what competitors are doing and planning in a given market. From a deep understanding of the market environment and competition, you develop customer preference towards our products with exciting customer benefits surpassing the competition. With a crisp understanding of the product sales trends, you replace older products with the right renewals to maintain customers' interests. You will work collaboratively with R&D teams to meet business and growth goals.
The Product Planning position requires knowledge and understanding of workflow products and its market. An ideal candidate should have solid skills in all aspects of market analysis, segmentation, strategy, and business case articulation. This role also requires candidates to have a deep understanding of the technology and product lifecycle processes with a track record of cross-functional collaboration, excellent written and verbal communication skills. Develop and drive business and marketing plans for the products. This includes setting the product prices and sales bundles. Develop all relevant publicity and educational materials to enable customer preference in our products. Develop all relevant sales tools such as application notes, customer success stories, competition analysis, demos, etc., to enable expertise of the field teams to sell our products. Determine accurate order forecast to ensure that Keysight fulfills the customers' demands. Evolve or revolve products or features to keep the customer preference according to ever-changing customer needs and applications.QualificationsBachelors or Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent.
Typically 8 to 10+ years relevant experience for entry to this level.
Experience in strategic planning, business development, marketing, and customer applications.
Sound business judgment with intimate knowledge of customer organizations and markets.
Solid team player and effective facilitator who demonstrates the ability to work across different functions and regions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, goal-oriented, self-motivated, demonstrates a sense of urgency and passion for the role.
Demonstrated track record in disciplined execution of complex renewals processes and funnel management to ensure reaching and exceeding sales goals in a software business.
Demonstrate a proactive ability to ensure a timely renewals process.
Ability to continually assess and understand customer's business initiatives and identify issues/opportunities that might adversely affect the health of the renewal. Furthermore, they must possess the ability to engage the appropriate resources to mitigate at-risk renewals in a proactive manner.
The ability to articulate and demonstrate (at a high level) Keysight's value propositions to the customer at all levels within their business.
Disciplined and thorough attention to detail, ability to manage a large funnel, and accurately deliver sales forecasts.
Skilled negotiator.
Ability to reduce and focus broad business strategies and concepts into structured executable projects with measurable goals.
Workflow software knowledge & high level of application knowledge.
Strong ability to manage complex sales funnel and develop business plans to enable and accelerate sales growth.
Strong customer relationship building skills at all levels.
Strategic scheduled approach to selling; driven by disciplined execution and proactive proven sales methodologies and mentality.
Goal-driven with strong relationships inside and outside the company and drives for robust internal partnerships and collaborations cross-functionally.

Previous renewal/software sales experience.
