The Research and Development team in Penang location is the center of global engineering for this business division. Bosch Cross-Domain Computing Solutions (XC) is divided into five sections:
Engineering Software and System Test
Project Management
Project management and engineering support for small control units (xCU)
Engineering Hardware and Mechanics
Product data management, resource management and central services
Job DescriptionWork with the project managers to drive SW development schedule.
Ensure all aspects of SW design and development including schedule adherence, cost, and performance/quality of the delivered product.
Manage all SW project team activities and coordinate SW project resources.
Coordinate the software development processes where project status is captured continuously, monitor project schedule and create status report; if necessary, decide on actions in case of deviations.
Communicate SW project status and progress to management.
Pro-actively identify delays and escalate to all stakeholders for budget changes and deadlines.
In charge of SW Change Management, develop workable implementation plans.
Main interface to customers on issues, change requests and SW delivery.
Responsible for sub-contract management to mitigate risk in project delay.
Represent SW team in cross-functional department discussions for project-related topics, e.g., discussions with production on the SW delivery and test system update.
Resolve software engineering and process problems by taking corrective measures while considering economic goals/objectives.
Adhere to Bosch Software Engineering Process and ASPICE automotive standard.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering/Science.
Expert in embedded system development methodologies.
Experience in Agile Scrum is a plus.
Hands-on industry experience developing embedded applications and software engineering planning.
Able to delegate, monitor, and follow up assignments/projects/jobs towards achievement of goals.
Team player with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
