We're seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Manager) to join our dynamic IT team! You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our software applications through a comprehensive testing strategy. Core Responsibilities Lead your team in crafting robust test plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements. Champion test automation, designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, ensuring efficient and reliable integration of changes. Oversee thorough regression testing to identify and address potential issues in software releases. Conduct performance testing to guarantee the scalability, responsiveness, and reliability of our applications. Design and execute API tests to validate the functionality and integration of backend services. Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring alignment with user needs. Manage defect tracking processes, identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects, working closely with development teams for timely resolution. Contribute to the continuous improvement of test automation frameworks, prioritising scalability and maintainability. Partner with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to foster a deep understanding of project requirements. Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. What We Are Looking For In A Candidate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or QA Engineer qualifications with a proven track record of success. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#). Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured). Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
