Qualifications & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or technical training in accounting or computer science preferred.
At least 1 year of experience in Software Support Technician or help desk role; experience with accounting systems preferred but not required.
Minimum technical knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems.
Experience with remote desktop support.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Provide technical support to internal staff and external clients through phone, email, chat, and in-person channels.
Respond to and resolve technical issues related to accounting software in a timely and efficient manner.
Monitor and maintain accounting systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
Install and configure accounting, POS, and payroll software, including desktops, laptops, printers, and servers.
Troubleshoot basic network issues.
Document technical issues and resolutions in a timely and accurate manner.
Provide training and support to staff on accounting systems and software as needed.
Participate in IT projects and initiatives related to accounting systems as assigned.
