Work with Engineering on New Product Development to ensure the integrity and clarity of engineering drawing requirements and that all expectations are communicated effectively to supporting suppliers Interact with Engineering teams to ensure suppliers are involved in development and review of specifications to promote design for manufacturability. Coordinate, source and negotiate cost-effective solution for RFQ Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with the organization's goals Continuous involvement in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery and technology. To participate in supplier selection and qualification. To carry out regular supplier audits and prepare necessary reports. To compile a AVL database on existing and new suppliers & keeping all relevant information and details about each supplier. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing activities with production schedules and project timelines. Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies and innovations in CNC machining. Identify potential new vendors and evaluate their capabilities to expand the supplier base and improve sourcing option. Requirements: A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field such as material science, mechanical engineering or CNC manufacturing technology. 5-6 years experience in a CNC machining role focusing on material selection, processing, procurement or supply chain management with some experience in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong knowledge of different types of materials used in CNC manufacturing, including sheet metal, plastic and composites. Familiarity with the material properties, machining parameters and optimization techniques with the ability to understand and analyze technical specification. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Good supervisory & leadership skills can communicate effectively and motivate the team effectively. Your application will include the following questions: What's your expected monthly basic salary?
