Sourcing Executive

Responsibilities:
Sourcing for materials from both overseas and local suppliers
Price negotiation and reduction for direct and indirect materials
Coordinate with QA and Engineering Department for parts approval and vendor qualification
Maintenance of vendors Master List
Approval and evaluation of supplier's quotations
Coordinate with end suppliers on their approved vendors transfer
Check and participate in vendor's capacity planning
Capable to identify multi-level BOMs to quote
Attend quote kick-off meetings for all quotes
Provide feedback to sourcing Managers about potential new suppliers to be included in our quoting process
Follow up on 1st Article sample submission for Part Approval Coordination for the phase in of ECN and product revision change
Liaise and work closely with suppliers and other inter-departments
Localization of the part for cost-saving potential and new product
Qualifications:
Minimum a Diploma; an Engineering Degree preferred.
3 years' experience in purchasing of engineering components, contracts, and services, preferably in a sizeable, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Priority will be given to candidates fluent in Mandarin.
