Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong passion for Italian cuisine.
As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with our Chef Owner, contributing to menu development, leading kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Chef Owner in daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards.
Lead and manage the kitchen team in the absence of the Chef Owner, maintaining consistency in food preparation and presentation.
Collaborate in research and development (R&D) of new dishes, bringing creativity and innovation to the menu.
Ensure all dishes are prepared according to Marco Creative Cuisine's recipes and standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and oversee food storage to minimize waste and maximize freshness.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Work in a fast-paced environment, handling pressure and ensuring timely delivery of orders.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
