JSK Mantanani Island Resort - the LARGEST Resort on Mantanani Island which caters for, amongst other resort activities, accommodation, FMCG, F&B, vending machine, souvenir outlet, beach recreational sports, snorkeling, diving, boat transfer, and other island resort centered activities. We are currently looking for experienced and dedicated individuals with the "CAN DO" attitude to join our family.
This position is based in Mantanani Island.
Responsibilities:Reports to the Resort Manager.
Responsible to propose souvenir items, merchandising, and operations functions.
Prepare timely reports and proposals for souvenir sales. Analyze customers' purchasing patterns and focus to increase sales.
Works with the MARCOM team for souvenir/merchandising designs.
Responsible for the sales targets for the souvenir outlet.
Monitor trends for competition in the marketplace.
Organizes plan for the display and presentation of merchandise with consideration to established marketing plan and for effective support of sales; changes displays timely with consideration to buying audience and season; supervises and works with staff stocking and displaying merchandise.
Supervises and participates in the monthly inventory of merchandise and stock, extends and prices inventory for use in the preparation of the monthly operating statement.
Works closely with the Group Procurement Department, meets with souvenir/local products vendors and product representatives to select marketable goods appropriate to the potential buying audience, the season of the year, and recognized customer demand. Stock/inventory and warehousing control.
Qualifications:Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Retail Management, or equivalent.
At least 5 years of exposure in the related field with major exposure in Tourist Local Products, FMCG, and/or Resort Souvenir Outlet management.
Extensive knowledge of merchandising techniques, store display, and selling methods.
Considerable knowledge of Tourist/Resort retail management, promotion, and marketing methods.
Good knowledge of merchandise buying procedures and product market values.
Knowledge of administrative procedures, personnel management, and supervisory techniques.#J-18808-Ljbffr
