Job Summary Perform desktop support, policies and controls to ensure cost-effective desktop management solutions for Global/Country IT implementation/deployment.
Job responsibilities: Configure & troubleshoot on-site or remotely for endpoint devices, PCs and Tablets, operating systems, printers, barcode scanners, etc.Ensure all endpoints and servers system is up to dateDiagnose and troubleshoot computer and general network issuesResponds to all relevant incident/service request via the ticketing systemProvide timely and detailed resolution of end-user issues as per SLA. Perform immediate escalation whenever necessaryManage IT Asset Management (ITAM) ensuring IT devices are registered in the system in a timely mannerSupport superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resourcesPerform digital workplace support within its framework and implementation road maps, in-line with global standardsAssist evaluations for designing cost-effective desktop management solutions. Support implementation of global/in-country deploymentsPrepare and perform desktop refresh deployments and implementation in accordance with IT standards/strategies/road mapsAdhere to desktop management best practices, procedures, guidelines and compliance with audits and industry standards (CSV, ICS, etc.)Work and coordinate tasks with global/local desktop management vendors to ensure compliance and support in a controlled mannerBuild strong working partnerships with other IT teams, business stakeholders, and usersComputer and accessories purchasingProven competencies in handling confidential/sensitive information in an appropriate and secure mannerCommunicate user needs, priorities, and customer satisfactionDemonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken Job requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computing/InformationThree to four years' experience in similar roleAutomation project / experience, be able to assess and articulate automation demandDigitalization experience, i.e Paperless initiatives, modernization, simplification Infrastructure, network, systems, serverTechnology or equivalent Hands-on experience in deployment and managing Windows 10/11 environmentInstall, configure, and update software systems to meet project needsAble to diagnose issues related to hardware (PCs, Tablets, Printers, Barcode scanners) and software and determine proper solutionsKnowledge of basic networks, DNS, DHCP, and experience in troubleshooting wired and wireless configurationsFamiliar with ITIL Service Management and ticketing systems, (e.g. ServiceNow, Freshworks)Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture, user manuals, and project status reportsParticipate in quality control and risk management activities, identifying and addressing technical issues as they ariseExperience in Server Backups, Active Directory, M365, and Windows server environmentKnowledge or experience in MS Power Platform (e.g. Power Automate, Power Apps, etc), MS FormActively participate/contribute ideas in a small to medium automation/ad-hoc/planned project that is embarked on by the companyDemonstrate ability to use remote administration tools (e.g. Ivanti, SCCM, etc)Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending new tools and techniques to improve projectExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills and ability to work independentlyAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teamsExercise independent judgment consistent with department guidelines/standards Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
