Responsibilities:Conduct regular site inspections to ensure site's respective discipline work compiles with the approved plans and specifications.
Conduct thorough inspections of all components to ensure they are built according to design specifications and are free from defects or damage.
Monitor work progress and quality to ensure it adheres to contractual requirements and standards.
Identify and report any discrepancies or issues to the relevant parties.
Quality Control:Verify that construction materials and workmanship meet required standards and specifications.
Assess the condition of materials used in construction to ensure they are not deteriorated and are performing as expected.
Ensure that all construction activities comply with safety regulations and quality assurance procedures.
Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily site reports, inspection logs, and test results.
Prepare and submit reports on the progress of site works, highlighting any issues or delays.
Coordination and Communication:Act as a liaison between the contractor, project manager, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
Collaborate with respective discipline engineers to address identified issues and ensure that corrective measures are effectively designed and implemented.
Attend project meetings and provide updates on respective discipline work.
Compliance and Safety:Ensure all construction activities are in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Monitor and enforce safety procedures on-site to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Identify and analyze any potential safety risks or issues resulting from respective discipline deficiencies or non-compliance with standards and recommend corrective actions.
Defect Identification and Resolution:Identify and document defects or non-conformities in construction work.
Work with contractors to resolve issues and ensure that corrective actions are implemented.
Inspection of Works:Conduct inspections of completed work before it is covered up or concealed.
Ensure that all works are completed in accordance with design requirements and project specifications.
Perform follow-up inspections to confirm that corrective actions or repairs have been completed properly and that structural integrity has been restored.
