Specialist, Talent Acquisition (Technology) (Malaysia)About the roleAs a Specialist in Talent Acquisition (Technology), you will recruit potential employees interested in technology-related positions at Isoftstone via the recruiting website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting, and other sources, with an emphasis on sourcing passive candidates.
You will be a point of contact with candidates and confirm interview schedules, while checking candidates' work history, competency, and other qualifications.
You will make offers, engage with candidates through pre-boarding, and assist in developing interview questions with the hiring manager.
What you'll be doing
Determines appropriate sourcing strategy for positions to be filled.
Meets regularly with hiring managers to determine business needs, advise on market conditions, and calibrate expectations for the hiring process.
Ensures candidate has fulfilled all requirements in applicant tracking system.
Proactively sources and interviews candidates and presents qualified, pre-screened candidates to the hiring manager.
Plans interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews.
Emphasizes the importance of recruiting a diverse workforce by presenting a diverse slate of candidates.
Sources potential candidates through online channels (e.g.
social platforms and professional networks) and multiple channels like LinkedIn, Job Boards, Social Media, referrals, etc.
Develops, manages, and refines recruitment strategies to attract top talent in dynamic environments.
Creates compelling job descriptions, insightful interview questions, and updates job ads to attract the right candidates.
Identifies passive candidates through research, networking, and talent mapping.
Conducts hiring drives, campus placement programs, and employment branding initiatives.
Maintains records of materials used during recruitment, like interview notes and other paperwork for top management.
Designs job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position's requirements.
Leads employer branding initiatives.
Organizes and attends job fairs and recruitment events.
Forecasts quarterly and annual hiring needs by department.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree required.
2 years required experience in Technology recruiting and staffing.
2 years required working knowledge of applicant tracking system(s).
1 year working knowledge of social media relative to the recruiting of candidates.
Understanding of recruiting policies and practices and employment law.
Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to execute daily tasks with limited supervision.
Ability to learn software packages.
Must be flexible and adaptable.
Ability to analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
1-year preferred experience in a similar industry.
