Job Summary
To provide end-to-end Enterprise/IPRAN access network support in aspects of fault, upgrade, and database maintenance to ensure high network availability to provide good service quality for U Mobile customers.
The Day-To-Day Activities
To perform all 2nd level PTN/router/FTTx product troubleshooting and identify the cause or failure of transmission Network Elements (NE).
Facing LL provider and demand improvement on the repetitive and major incidents.
Maintaining Enterprise/IPRAN access network (PTN, Router, GPON, and Switches) service availability and stability.
Handles Enterprise/IPRAN network, performance-related and customer complaint trouble tickets.
To resolve TT, alarm, and equipment errors within SLA.
Perform network capacity, expansion and optimization of new Enterprise/IPRAN circuits.
Escalation of abnormalities/irregularities issued to Vendor/LL provider, interconnect & CDMU in a timely manner.
Provide 2nd Level Support to Field Force Team.
To perform all 2nd-level transmission support & troubleshoot any major network failure on U Mobile network which consists of various switch/router/GPON products.
Conduct network audit, analysis, and monitoring performance to ensure service availability and achieve KPI.
Liaising with leads, managing vendors to help in restoring the faults, liaising with management for updating and progress status.
To generate and analyze reports for problem links. Suggest solutions and ideas for troubleshooting procedures to reduce network outages.
About You
Degree or equivalent in Electrical / Electronic Engineering / Telecommunication discipline.
Experience in Telco industry, preferably in transmission products, especially in operation and maintenance.
Readiness to work in demanding situations and be assertive in the situation.
Ability and skill in troubleshooting at least (L2 for all various router/IP nodes).
Strong technical knowledge of Transmission, IP/IT switches/routers will be an advantage.
Minimum 3 years experience in O&M of switch/Router.
Having skills or knowledge in any programming language will be an advantage.
Experience in Switches/Routers/GPON/BRAS is an added advantage.
Working experience in scripting and network automation tools will be an advantage.
