SUMMARY OF THE ROLEThe Specification Executive is responsible to support the department for enlisting Jotun products in specifications of maximum projects by developing contacts with architects, consultants and fabricators in order to ensure Jotun's specifications are approved and followed at all project levels for profitable sales growth.This position will report to Sales Manager - Powder and based at Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.**Responsibilities**:- Assist the Sales Manager in getting approvals on Jotun products for most projects in the assigned country by providing necessary technical and commercial information to increase the chances of securing projects.- Maintained an updated database on all essential construction projects and architects in an assigned country.- Build up a strong business network within the selected professional group of consultants, architects, designers, and project specifiers by initiating contacts to support Jotun's specifications approvals by project decision-makers- Conduct technical and commercial training/orientation sessions at seminars to increase Jotun's visibility and maximize sales through the architect channel.- Identify and map projects in assigned countries, influence the decision makers to ensure Jotun specifications are approved, and secure projects for Jotun's business benefit.- Monitor construction and paint industry market status and use the collected data to support Jotun's position in the market by promoting and implementing Jotun products and concepts to be the paint supplier leader in the market.- Support the sales team in achieving sales targets by securing approvals for Jotun specifications and updating them on project activities and status to ensure the successful completion of the sales process of Jotun to assigned projects.- Initiate, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with specifiers through regular visits, conducting presentations, and attending seminars.- Arrange regular meetings with leading architects, consultants, and project owners to present Jotun as a Company and its products, including technical documentation on performance, features, etc.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's Degree with 1-3 years' relevant experience.- Excellent English skills both spoken and written.- You have great communication skill and teamwork spirited.- Process orientation and aptitude- Personal Qualities-- Effective Communication; communicates in a clear, precise and structured way; speaks with authority and conviction; presents effectively- Execution; adheres to company rules and procedures; executes plans with commitment and determination; achieves high quality results- Influence; makes an impact; convinces and persuades others; promotes plans and ideas successfully- Initiative & Responsibility; acts on own initiative, makes things happen and accepts responsibility for the results- Networking; builds a useful network of contacts and relationships and utilizes it to achieve objectives- Systematic Approach; uses a methodical and systematic approach; plans ahead, defines clear priorities and allocates resources effectively- We Offer-- We are a fast-growing paint company with proven financial success.- Career development encompassing on-the-job experiences and Jotun Academy, our in-house development academy.- Best-in-class paint product that are unparalleled in quality.- We are a values-driven organization where Respect, Loyalty, Care and Boldness are core to the culture and success of our organization.POSITION INFORMATIONCompany:Jotun Paints (Malaysia) Sdn.
