The Sponsorship Manager will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing sponsorship opportunities, as well as developing creative sponsorship packages tailored to meet the needs of potential sponsors. This role involves maintaining strong relationships with sponsors, ensuring value-added benefits through an innovative partnership program, and driving revenue growth through effective sponsorship strategies. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation skills, strong business acumen, and a proven track record in managing partnerships and sponsorships across various industries.
Job Description
Develop and execute a comprehensive sponsorship strategy to source, secure, and retain sponsors.
Create tailored sponsorship packages that provide clear value propositions to potential sponsors, aligning with their marketing and business objectives.
Identify and engage potential sponsors across various sectors, fostering strong, long-term relationships.
Manage all aspects of sponsor relationships, including contract negotiations, deliverables, and ongoing communication to ensure satisfaction and alignment.
Design and implement a value-added partnership program to enhance sponsor benefits and maintain sponsor loyalty.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the seamless integration of sponsorships into campaigns, events, or other business initiatives.
Track and report sponsorship performance, providing sponsors with detailed analytics and insights to demonstrate ROI.
Stay informed about industry trends, sponsorship best practices, and competitors to continuously improve sponsorship offerings.
Handle sponsor inquiries, feedback, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Manage sponsorship budgets and ensure sponsorship activities align with organizational goals and financial targets.
Job Requirements
5+ years of experience in sponsorship management, business development, or partnership roles.
Proven track record in developing sponsorship packages and securing sponsorship deals.
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers.
Excellent organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple sponsors and initiatives simultaneously.
Creative thinking with the ability to design innovative sponsorship solutions that deliver value to both sponsors and the organization.
Strong analytical skills to measure and report on sponsorship performance and ROI.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience in presenting to stakeholders at various levels.
Preference
Experience in managing sponsorships for events, media, or entertainment-related industries.
