Sr Accountant / Accountant - Ew

Our client, a financial services company and a leader in online payment systems, is urgently seeking a Sr. Accountant to join the team in Hong Kong.
Job DescriptionReport to Senior Finance Manager for all financial reporting and operational finance matters across company's operations
Prepare and review monthly financial statements and analysis for management review
Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements for external reporting purposes
Review finance and accounting operations, including accounts payable transactions
Streamline financial processes to improve work efficiency and strengthen internal controls
Be prepared to be hands-on in resolving issues and exploiting new opportunities as they arise
Job RequirementsUniversity graduate with at least 5 years of financial operation experience
A member of a recognized professional accounting body is an advantage
Good understanding of IFRS/HKFRS
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in Oracle and Hyperion is an added advantage
Knowledge of e-payment and financial services is a plus
Mature, self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, independent, detail-oriented, and well-organized
Strong people management and communication skills with the ability to earn the respect and trust of peers, seniors, and subordinates to win their support and cooperation
Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese
