Job OverviewJoin Micron as a Sr Factory Operations Manager in Batu Kawan, where you will play a pivotal role in crafting the future of memory and storage solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary SIG interface, collaborating with product and central/engineering planning teams to understand equipment/board demand, strategizing to meet Micron's business requirements.
Manage all contract manufacturing (CM) operations during New Product Introduction (NPI) and High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) phases to ensure timely equipment/board delivery.
Partner with the field service team to support post-sale requirements such as repairs, upgrades, rework, and spares.
Identify and mitigate risks impacting CM production and delivery schedules, driving resolutions to meet need dates.
Monitor and manage finished goods (FG) inventories, contributing to the excess and obsolete (E&O) disposition process.
Lead purchase price variance (PPV) discussions and decisions with the supply chain team.
Drive capacity modeling to ensure tooling capacity meets output requirements, identifying and mitigating capacity constraints.
Optimize current resources and find opportunities to reduce costs associated with CM.
Initiate and implement systemic corrective actions to address recurring root causes of missed schedules.
Provide data-driven recommendations to collaborators, customers, and team members for strategic and operational decisions.
Support cross-organizational initiatives to continuously innovate and improve business processes.
RequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering (EE preferred) or any other technical field.
Proven experience in contract manufacturer management, outsource management, product management, or product engineering.
Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to drive resolutions in a collaborative environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively manage interactions with different collaborators.
Ambitious and determined to successfully implement central initiatives and improvements.
