The Industrial Engineer will support the Master Route governance process and coordinate ramp readiness projects. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to ensure capacity readiness in alignment with customer requirements, while also focusing on enhancing efficiency through optimized material flow and layout to maximize production productivity.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and planning, to understand the manufacturing process flow and ensure that route settings align with the established procedures.
Review and validate route change requests, ensuring that all necessary information, documentation, and approvals are in place.
Implement approved route changes in the ERP system, ensuring accurate and timely updates to reflect the revised manufacturing process.
Conduct regular audits of route settings in the ERP system to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, or inefficiencies and take corrective actions as needed.
Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of route settings, seeking opportunities for improvement, optimization, and standardization.
Participate in cross-functional meetings and projects related to process improvements, system upgrades, or ERP system enhancements that impact route settings.
Support the Process Engineering team to develop and implement efficient production methods of work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for valve manufacturing lines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to streamline processes and resolve operational issues.
Design and optimize layouts for production areas, ensuring ergonomic workstations, efficient material flow, and adherence to safety standards.
Analyze existing manufacturing processes on the valve production lines and identify areas for improvement in terms of productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct capacity planning and resource allocation to meet production targets and customer demands to prepare for ramp readiness.
Support all other tasks as assigned by Management.
