Location: Penang, Malaysia
Job Objectives To develop and built automation machine/system from concept to final closeout in support company objective.
Roles and Responsibilities To develop concept for automation machine/robotic systems to production To create concept layout using solidworks, execute mechanical design for automated machine/ robotic systems According to the project plan, carry out mechanical design/ robotic system design, technical research, and development Creating complex assemblies and bill of material (BOMS) for automated machines To provide insight into the assembly work and deal with design problems and improve them Plan and manage mechanical design schedule Design and develop customized functional jig/machine. Liaise with production during developing automation/ robotic systems. Perform any other assignments as and when necessary Create & maintain technical documentation (CAD files, specifications, reports, preventative maintenance) Lead the collaboration with external parties to complete projects in a timely manner Prototype the automation/ robotics system in collaboration with a cross functional team Experience Mechanical designing with accuracy in tolerancing Mechanical designing for automated machine and robotic systems. Knowledge on automation system and tools (pneumatics, hydraulic, robotics, vision, material handling, conveyor, etc., knowledge in fabrication, sheet metal and assembly) Knowledge on designing robot structure, robot pick and place arm, and robot simulation Robotic problem-solving skills Requirements Require a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 5-10 years of job experience in robotic automation designing Hands-on working experience in design software such as Solidworks, AutoCAD Product data management system such as PDM Enterprise resource planning system such as SAP A good written and verbal skill in Englis with the ability to communicate with external and internal teams is essential High focus on company's goal and objectives Ability to present creative solutions and work independently Application If you see yourself in this position and would like to join the Actiforce team, please send your application, CV and other relevant information to:
