Sr. Purchasing Executive (Construction)

Job Responsibilities:
Research and identify reliable suppliers, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of materials.Oversee the smooth implementation of purchasing activities, from requisition and invitation to bid, to supplier evaluation and selection, award of purchase orders, and delivery of goods and services.Plan and purchase materials according to requirements of site purchase orders.Coordinate and monitor the procurement or purchasing of materials to ensure timely delivery.Plan, monitor, and control material inventory at optimum levels.Conduct, monitor, and evaluate suppliers' performance to drive improvements in quality, cost, delivery, and services.Work closely with internal departments and external suppliers on purchased items/engaged services.Review purchase requisitions and determine proper purchasing methods in compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.Ensure all invoices are matched with the purchase order and delivery.Compile and prepare price comparisons of construction materials for management review.Requirements:Candidates must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any relevant field.Minimum of two (2) years of working experience in a procurement environment.
Experience in the construction industry is a must for this position.Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and discipline.Possess a positive attitude, be self-motivated, analytical, and able to work independently.#J-18808-Ljbffr
