Design test plan, conduct validation testing on submitted drives, perform failure analysis, analyze test results (JMP), generate test reports, and provide engineering recommendations.
Work independently or with cross-functional teams to communicate schedules and assess readiness for volume production.
Ensure products are validated in compliance with product specifications and customer performance requirements.
Perform failure analysis or channel the failure to responsible groups for analysis where applicable.
Determine root cause and feedback to responsible groups to initiate corrective action.
Qualify new tests and test systems as required.
Lead, coordinate and drive the team on closing critical issues, qualification, and projects.
Actively look for quality/efficiency improvement and test enhancement.
Provide training to engineers/technicians.
Qualification
REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum 4 years of working experience in relevant field or validation/testing experience.
PREFERRED:
Analytical skills (JMP, Tableau, etc.).
Familiarity with Linux CLI and bash/shell scripting.
Experience in testing/product engineering.
SKILLS
Demonstrates a strong ability for problem-solving and analyzing complexity.
Capable of managing projects and tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and expectations.
Possesses excellent interpersonal skills, both in written and verbal communication.
Self-motivated and capable of working effectively with others.
Demonstrated ability to mentor others or lead teams.
