You will deliver floorcare product's Systems Engineering, developing BISSELL's next generation of innovation, technologies, systems, sub-systems, and components. From early-stage development to SOP (Start of Production), you will release mature innovation and technologies for integration into new products, driving high product ratings and best-in-class consumer experiences.
ResponsibilitiesPOSITION PROFILE:
Work with a team of highly capable product researchers, designers, and developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Communicate and coordinate with BISSELL's global development sites.
Plan and execute advanced development and systems engineering projects, ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to specifications and requirements, and cost-effectiveness.
Demonstrate the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to BISSELL's technology and innovation roadmap.
Engage in international travel as required to support global projects and initiatives.

QualificationsREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial, or Manufacturing preferred); advanced degree is a plus.
10 - 20+ years of experience in a technical environment, with a minimum of 5+ years leading engineering teams in consumer product design and development.
Subject matter expertise in at least two of the following domains: cleaning performance/Pickup, separation systems/filtrations, fluid dynamics, NVH, data analysis, simulation, and modeling.
Working knowledge of statistical and analysis tools, Modelica, MATLAB, Simulink/Simscape, coding, 3D modeling, PLM systems, and SysML modeling language.
Familiarity with product design concept generation and selection, 3D CAD, engineering drawing standards, prototyping, and engineering builds.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of people and organization, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Exceptional communication skills and ability to present technical information effectively, influence stakeholders at all levels, and collaborate across global teams.
Strong command of English, both written and spoken, for effective global collaboration.
