Nursing - Community, Maternal & Child Health (Healthcare & Medical)
As a Nurse in a Postnatal Care Centre, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to new mothers and their babies during the postpartum period. You will be responsible for monitoring the health and well-being of both the mother and the newborn, assisting with breastfeeding and newborn care, providing education and support to the new parents, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Job Description
Assess and monitor nursing needs for mothers and babies.
Advise on breastfeeding, managing newborns, and other health promotion to mothers.
Monitor and track the baby reports for their milk consumption.
On-time feeding and taking care of newborn infants.
Ensure the cleanliness of the baby room and proper hygiene.
Administration duties as advised by Superior.
Monitor the general well-being of mother and child.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date mothers and babies records. Ensure that all necessary paperwork, including consent forms and discharge instructions, are completed properly.
Requirements/Criteria:
Certified and Registered Nurse by LJM.
Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in Nursing/NICU/Postnatal Care or related field.
Possess a passionate disposition to care for mommy & baby.
Preferably able to communicate in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Must be willing to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Follow roster duty ( MUST BE WILLING TO WORK NIGHT SHIFT ).
Experience in a confinement centre or paediatric ward preferred (higher salary package).
LJM pass, Diploma in Nursing, Postbasic Midwifery preferred (higher salary package).

On shift 5 days work per week.
Full-time with OT, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, Annual Leave.
