Staff Nurse - Junior (Imu Medical Clinic)

Provides direct, professional nursing care to patients in an outpatient setting.Performs evaluation of new and existing patients to determine priority and suitability of treatment by triaging of patientPrepares equipment and assists doctors during examinations and treatments.Administer prescribed medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.Performs nursing procedures such as blood taking, injection, setting up IV line, wound dressing, and Ryle's tube insertion.Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals; teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills; answering questions.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations - practice infection control as per guidelines.Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.Ensures operation of equipment by assisting completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories.To ensures sufficient medication and consumable supplies with systematic inventory in place by checking stock / par level to determine inventory level and anticipating needed suppliesComplete required documentation especially nursing care procedure and observation and other relevant documents such as incident reporting etcTo ensures sufficient medication and consumable supplies with systematic inventory in place by checking stock / par level to determine inventory level and anticipating needed supplies.Assist in planning of staff's duty roster and work responsibilitiesJob requirements- Degree in Nursing with a valid APC- Possess minimum 2 years of working experience in clinic / hospital management.- Good customer service orientation- Basic computer skills**Salary**: From RM2,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Flexible schedule- Health insurance
