We are looking for a Staff Nurse/Medical Assistant to work in the Ward.
The ideal candidate must be someone that is interested in Orthopaedic and is able to provide good nursing care to the patients.
ResponsibilitiesProvide hands-on care to patients by administering medication, managing intravenous lines, observing and monitoring patients' conditions, maintaining records, and communicating with doctors.
Work with healthcare professionals to provide the best multi-disciplinary care to patients.
Ensure proper documentation of nursing notes.
Take and pass patients' reports.
Assist patients in their daily assisted living needs.
Able to multitask and communicate well with patients.
Ensure that nursing procedures are carried out in accordance with MOH guidelines, and that these procedures are evidence-based.
Maintain accurate records as per MOH and record-keeping.
Maintain absolute confidentiality in respect of patient records, medical nursing, and allied health professionals.
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by HOD.
RequirementsCandidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Nursing, Medical Assistant, or equivalent.
Registration with the Nursing Board Malaysia (LJM), Lembaga Pembantu Perubatan (LPP).
Valid annual practicing certificate (APC).
Good interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently.
Well-versed in Bahasa Malaysia and English; additional languages will be an added advantage.
Willing to learn and take on responsibility.
At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
