We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior/Staff Test Software Developer to join our dynamic team in Malaysia. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our single-use scopes, which are essential tools in various medical procedures. As a Staff Test Software Developer, you will be at the forefront of developing and maintaining sophisticated test software that supports our production processes. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing operations, helping us deliver products to healthcare professionals worldwide.
In addition to developing test software, you will also be responsible for creating and maintaining the backend systems that support these applications. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Your commitment to high-quality code and thorough testing will be vital in maintaining the standards our products are known for.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain test software for production.
Develop and maintain backend systems to support the test software.
Ensure high-quality code by thoroughly testing the developed software.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and document software requirements.
Identify defects, track issues, and report findings to the development team for resolution.
Contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy and best practices.
Qualifications:
Minimum Degree/Masters Degree in Software Engineering, Software Programming, or other related disciplines.
Minimum 5 years of experience in software development or similar job scope.
Excellent oral and written communication in English.
Experience or knowledge of Python, Docker, Git, and Linux.
Experience or knowledge of AI development is a plus.
Understanding of backend development.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Understanding of agile development methodologies.
