Responsibilities:
Keeping the doctor's room well prepared for consultation.
Ushering in patients into the consultation or treatment room.
Assisting doctors in giving treatment to patients whenever required.
Ensuring medical supplies are available at all times.
Handling medical instruments with utmost care and proper maintenance.
Doing dressing for patients as and when required.
Ensuring patients are comfortable throughout the medical checkup process by adhering to all company's policies & procedures, Nursing Standards, and Code of Ethics.
Ensuring any lab specimens are correctly labelled, taken, and sent out with the correct patient's data.
Filing lab test reports or hospital reports into patient data record/form accurately.
Attending to patients by coordinating professional and best services/treatment.
Ensuring patient cards or treatment chits are being prepared correctly according to SOP.
Ensuring sales data are captured accurately by keying in registered patients into the clinic's patient data record system.
Ensuring accurate patient information is disseminated to patients, doctors in charge, or relevant parties via email, tele-communication, etc.
Prescribing and dispensing general medication to patients during the absence of the Doctor in charge and obtaining prior approval for complex medicine.
Ensuring the right drugs and dosage are given out and providing correct instructions regarding dosage, duration, and methods (if any) for the patient.
Preparing and labeling plastic bottles for medicines/mixtures.
Issuing receipts, M/Cs, and cash chits when necessary and ensuring copies are stored.
Ensuring all medical reports & treatment chits are attached properly with the Pre-invoice summary.
Keying in drugs prescribed into the computer for records and charges.
Charging patients when required and ensuring cash transactions are recorded and done correctly.
Keeping the Doctor updated on the MCs issued and medicines prescribed/dispensed during his/her absence on a daily basis.
Supporting and participating in public relations, customer relations & marketing activities.
Updating billing in clinic system and customers' respective portals.
Supporting and performing any other tasks as and when assigned by the immediate supervisor or Management.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess a minimum of Diploma in Nursing or its equivalent.
Registered with Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia & Annual Practice Certificate by Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia.
Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia both written and verbal.
Able to coordinate and facilitate teams and work groups as well as liaise with relevant authorities and different levels of staff.
Able to multi-task and work under pressure.

This position will be based at Seberang Perai for a 3 months contract (Cover maternity staff) and able to start work onDecember 2024 .
