We are looking for a service engineer who is responsible to coordinate the overall operations of repairs of returned parts from customers (customer claim investigations or scheduled services).
Principle Duties & Responsibilities: Key contact person for PQE, customer and other subsidiaries Coordinate service center daily activities such as manpower arrangement, FA, shipment, etc Ensure all product that required servicing and repair or FA must enter in the system without failed Ensure all products is following the service workflow Arrangement for products receiving and outgoing with respective party and customer Ensure all products with decontamination form before parts arrival to MY Update service staff skill matrix from time to time Train up service technician on new product knowledge and skill Ensure sufficient equipment, tools, jig and fixtures, test flanges, etc to perform daily service and repair activities Guide service technician on FA and replication for customer related feedback and complaint Perform servicing vacuum valves and valve component, with timely delivery of products in required quality and at reasonable cost level (within planned cycle time) Perform functional leak test in accordance to specification.
Troubleshoot and solve any leakage issue during leak test process Perform final inspection and customized packaging for shipment Actively participate in continuous improvement process and maintain 5S at work environment to increase the productivity and maintain safety Timely perform maintenance on equipment, devices, jigs and fixtures according to schedule.
Consistently maintain optimum stock level at service center to meet demand and delivery Properly setup and handle equipment, jigs/fixture and parts with correct program and parameters for service assembly, test and packaging processes.
Accurately maintain information in D365 (i.e.
Inventory, cost, quality, delivery leadtime) with accurate data entry and timely transactions.
Perform the task according to procedure and work instruction Perform a timely recording & accurate report on service status especially departmental KPI Support by reporting to superior in term of coordinating & communicating if any quality issues, parts and components availability due to shortages and any critical on delivery timelines.
Perform on site servicing or technical support to customer when required Any other duties as assigned by superior Minimum Qualification: Advanced Diploma / Degree / master's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Industrial / Manufacturing or equivalent Minimum 5 years of experience in similar cleanroom and servicing processes Prefer to possess knowledge in leak testing, store min/max maintenance, material handling/kitting Basic knowledge of quality assurance and practices Good characters for teamwork and reliability Basic Microsoft Office knowledge and experience Proficient in English.
Pro-active, Organized, good team player and customer-oriented Strong analytical and problem solving skills Preferred Qualification: Know-how in vacuum physics, electro-mechanical systems Relevant experience in automation is preferred Lean Six sigma, 8D or other equivalent problem solving skills and certification is an added advantage VAT is an equal opportunity employer.
