Store Assistant

Job Responsibilities:Receive and unpack merchandise, ensuring accurate quantity and quality.
Arrange and display products on shelves to optimize visibility.
Monitor and replenish stock levels to prevent shortages.
Store Cleanliness and Organization:
Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Arrange displays and promotional materials in an attractive manner.
Perform regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
Assist in Merchandising:
Collaborate with the merchandising team to set up displays and promotions.
Ensure that product signage and pricing are accurate.
Participate in inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment.
Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
Work collaboratively with other store staff to achieve common goals.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
Provide support during peak business hours and special events.
Product Knowledge:
Stay informed about product features, benefits, and usage.
Attend training sessions to enhance product knowledge.
Assist in training new store assistants as needed.
Administrative Tasks:
Complete administrative tasks such as filling out inventory reports and forms.
Assist in managing store documentation and records.
Flexibility:
Be willing to take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the store manager.
Adapt to changes in tasks and priorities based on store needs.
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
